The mental health support group is based in Rushcliffe in Nottinghamshire United Kingdom, although we are open to anyone willing to travel to us. We have members from Grantham, inner city Nottingham, Newark, Lincoln and a variety of other neighbouring areas.
The group is open to anyone affected by mental health difficulties.

Aims of our group
- to provide a social support and information group, run by its members for its members, for anyone affected by mental health difficulties primarily in the Rushcliffe and Nottinghamshire areas
- to collaborate with other organisations to improve the delivery of mental health services including training and research
- to provide a mental health information bank for anybody affected by mental health issues
To achieve our aims
- We have weekly support meetings
- We run social activities and even supported holidays away
- We have a resource of information we can tap into as and when needed from information on personal budgets, to housing and benefits and signpost people to relevant organisations for support on specific areas
- We work closely with other peer support groups
- We help run Rambling minds a mental health walking group
- We collaborate with the NHS to help inform improvements
- We have published 4 publications
- We have conducted some research and trained people in research skills
- We have delivered training and helped at awareness raising events
- We have helped raise awareness by being on video, the TV, on the radio and in the newspapers
